Today’s the day where I finally get started on the LEGO Tintin rocket set. Of course, I had to slip into something appropriate. Thus, the Speedmaster in the Hodinkee 10 year version. So great to at last finding the time.

One with its box, One I didn't know till recently... In gold. For me, a nice steel would make my day. With some great patina, such as this one: Credit: Analog and Shift. Best, Nicolas

I recently dropped this off with a local expert in vintage repair & restoration. My father attempted to have it, "serviced", unfortunately ignoring my advice and he took it to a strip-mall jeweler that was known more for cheap battery replacements. an

ref. OT 2850 from June 11, 1956. It was issued in a small batch for the 1956 Olympic games in Melbourne. This one has a specific, potentially prototype, enamel dial from Z.J. Flückiger. Cheers, HSTE Look at the complex gold inlays.
